Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has once again emphasized on the importance of knowing ones root.

Yul has been an ardent preacher of going back to the African religion. The actor shared a photo on his Instagram page yesterday urging everyone to return to the traditional ways because the increase in premature deaths is a result of abandoning our roots.

"Too many premature deaths these days.
Young people dying in their twenties, thirties, forties.

It's not normal.
It's happening because we have abandoned our traditional ways and embraced the ways of oyibo people.

The spirits that protect many of us and our lands are angry because they've been relegated.

We must go back to our traditional ways, which are very pure and powerful."

Buttressing his point, Yul via his Instagram page, today, stressed the importance of knowing ones root and never forgetting it..he further stated that the power of the African man lies in his roots.

And never forget it.
