Please Burna Boy, Forgive Speed Darlington - Bobrisky
Controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has appealed to Afrobeats star, Burna Boy, to release his colleague, Speed Darlington from prison.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Speed Darlington sparked uproar on social media when he shared a video holding a baby oil, and insinuated that Burna Boy was involved romantically with embattled American rapper, Diddy. He further suggested that Burna Boy's relationship with Diddy made him win the Grammys. Speed Darlington's action led to his arrest by the Nigeria Police Force.
Surprisingly, despite the court's order for the release of Speed Darlington from prison, he has remained in detention, and this has sparked different debates among many Nigerians.
Weighing in on Speed Darlington's case, Bobrisky, via his Instagram page stated that he is focused on minding his business this year, and avoid anything that involves Nigerian celebrities, but his heart won't let him ignore some things.
He appealed to Burna Boy to please forgive Speed Darlington. He noted that prison is not a nice place, and he is unsure of Speed Darlington's financial capability to afford him a VIP section due to its cost.
Bobrisky wrote on his Instagram page:
"I just wanna mind my business this year and stay away from anything that connects with Nigerian celebrities. But my soft heart won’t stop me from thinking of many things.
"Pls Burna Boy, forgive Speed [Darlington]. Pls, prison is not a nice place. I don’t think he has money for a VIP section cos it’s expensive."
