Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has been emotional, as her new movie 'Everybody Loves Jenifa' sets new Nollywood record.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Funke Akindele released her movie 'Everybody Loves Jenifa' in cinemas on Friday, December 13th, 2024.
Taking to her X handle, the actress shared images of the record that her new movie has set. According to the images, her new movie has grossed a total of 206 million.
It also holds the record of the highest grossing one-day performance of all time with the amount of N87.8 million.
The movie also holds the record of the strongest opening weekend admission count in 2024 with a total of 38,353.
