Popular ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Uriel Oputa, best known as Uriel, has revealed the challenges faced with taking care of her mother battling with dementia.

Dementia is a group of thinking and social symptoms that interfere with daily functioning. It could also be called memory loss.

Sharing this on her Instagram story, Uriel explained that caring for someone with Dementia is one thing, but it is tougher since it is her mother battling with the health condition.

She noted that it is not just challenging, but heartbreaking, and at the same time rewarding. She noted that every day brings about a new challenge of her mother's condition, but she keeps moving in love.

"Caring for someone with dementia – especially when that person is my mother – is the most challenging, heartbreaking, and rewarding experience. Each day brings new hurdles and deep emotions, yet we face them with love. In the end, love becomes both our strength and our solace."
