Portable Blames Fela For Causing His Death
Popular controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has made a shocking claim regarding the death of late Afrobeats pioneer and activist Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
Portable claimed that Fela was the cause of his death; he stated that the late music star refused to mind his own business, which inadvertently led to his death.
Recall that Fela, during his lifetime, was torn in the life of the then government by constantly criticizing them through the lyrics of his songs, which did not sit down well with them.
Speaking on the 'Echo Room podcast with media personality Quincy Jonze, he emphasized that Fela was his own downfall due to his actions, which did not include him minding his business.
In an interesting interview on social media, the singer insisted that Fela died early because he did not mind his business.
