The much anticipated reality show in Nigeria and Africa "Big Brother Naija" kicked off on Sunday, July 28th, 2024.

The reality show with the theme "No Loose Guard" kicked off with the much anticipated unveiling of housemates, which was a main angle for fans and ardent lovers of the reality show.

The 9th season of the reality show unveiled a new pattern, as the number of housemates who joined the show are 28 in total, with all of them being paired into two which makes them 14 pairs.

Much to the delight of the fans of the reality show, the organisers of the show decided to do something different by bringing in the first two sets of twin housemates, Wanni and Handi and Ocee and Ozee on the show.

Wowing fans further, the organisers also added a twist by introducing its first ever married couple on the show, Kassia and Kellyrae, aka Doublekay, who married in February 2024.
