Brain Jotter Clarifies Gwo Gwo Ngwo Drama
Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Chukwuebuka Amuzie, best known as Brain Jotter, has addressed the drama of the Gwo Gwo Ngwo challenge.
Recall that Brain Jotter used the viral Mike Ejeagha’s 1983 hit song ‘Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo in a dance video which has gone viral and has led to various support and arguments from different sections of the public.
Some people believe that the singer exploited Mike Ejeagha’s hit song without compensating him properly even after gifting the veteran singer 2 million Naira.
Responding to the claims against him, Brain Jotter revealed that he made no profit from the use of the veteran’s song contrary to public opinion and the gift of 2 million Naira was done out ofnhis freewill not from the gain of the song.
He wrote;
“For those thinking we ripped him off or making money from this whole thing, I understand your concerns and they are very valid.
“I appreciate the fact that you want him to get value for his hard work, which is very valid, and I want you to understand that you are doing something good
“At the end of the day, no dime was made from this song by me, nothing like that. The N2 million I gave him was from my personal hard earned money. I did that just for humanity and not for profit.”
