Rema Drops Advise For Nigerian Artistes
Popular Nigerian singer and MAVIN signee, Divine Ikubor, best known as Rema, has appealed to Nigerian artistes to focus on Afrobeats.
The “Calm down" crooner, who recently released his sophomore album “He Is" has clamoured for Nigerian artistes to concentrate on Afrobeats in order to make it more global instead of diverting all their attention to Amapiana.
Speaking in a interview with Apple music, Rema noted that his new sophomore album “He Is" was greatly inspired by Afrobeats stars like Don Jazzy, 2Baba, Olamide and other Afrobeats stars.
He, however, advised Nigerian artistes to ensure that they keep promoting Afrobeats instead of taking all their focus to foreign sounds like Amapiano.
