The news of veteran Nollywood actor, Olu Jacobs went round the social media space on June 30th, 2024.

However, the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, has come out to debunk the claims that the veteran actor is dead and instead emphasized that he is still very much alive, while also warning people to desist from spreading rumours of the actor's death.

The family of the veteran actor also confirmed that the actor is alive and not dead and begged citizens to desist from insinuating that he is dead.

The spokesperson of AGN, Kate Henshaw took to X to address those who have been insinuating that Olu Jacobs is dead. She wrote;

“How you people put up RIP posts about someone who is still alive, year in year out, is very sickening, Tbh.

“You do this to this great man and his family all the time. It is all shades of wrong. Stop for goodness sake. UNCLE OLU JACOBS is ALIVE.”
