Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey has seemingly surprised many over his recent action taken at some online users.

Recall that gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Blessed Uzodinma recently posted a picture of the face of their son online, and this was subjected to many praise.

However, some online users decided to trend for the wrong reasons by insinuating that Mercy Chinwo's child resembles her gospel colleague, Nathaniel Bassey. They also stated that since Nathaniel Bassey and Mercy Chinwo are close, it is possible that they had sex which led to the birth of her child.

In the light of this, Nathaniel Bassey, who is well known for not responding to online trolls has surprised many as he took the bull by the horns by filing a petition for “Defamation of Character,” against the online social media users, with the

The names of the online users which have been sued for “Defamation Of Character" are: Okoronkwo Ejike, Kingsley Ibeh, Terrence Ekot, and DJ Spoiltkid.
