Ghanaian Pastor Criticizes Ghanaians For Not Supporting Their Own
Ghanaian pastor, Bishop Sam Owusu, has shown huge displeasure at fellow Ghanaians over turning out in their numbers for popular Nigerian pastor, Pastor Jerry Eze’s crusade in Ghana.
Pastor Jerry Eze, who is the founder and general overseer of Streams of Joy International, organized a crusade at Ghana International Trade Fair Centre, near Africa Lake in Accra, Ghana, on Saturday, February 24th.
This clearly displeased Bishop Sam Owosu as over 80,000 people were in attendance at the crusade. He lambasted Ghanaians for supporting outsiders rather than their own.
He then went ahead to say that the massive turnout shown to the man of God in Ghana would not be the same if it were to be a Ghanaian Pastor who organized a crusade in Nigeria.
The Bishop's comments has received backlash from social media users as they advised the Bishop to focus on God and stop competition with other pastor's.
