Solomon Buchi Criticizes Asake's Actions Against The Christians

By Oluwarantimi Oludase

Nigerian Social media commentator, Solomon Buchi has reacted to Asake's latest action in his newly released music video

The social media commentator was not pleased with Asake's actions as he criticized the place and the costume used in shooting the video of his new song “Only me."

He wrote; “Asake keeps disrespecting the Christian faith in his music videos. Dramatizing giving the Eucharist, robed up in priestly regalia for a music video that has no connection with Christianity is disrespectful. In his Bandana video, he depicts black goats troping into the church, with cloven tongues of fire above weird men. Asake, I think, is a Muslim. Why doesn’t he go above and beyond to embarrass his Muslim faith in this same way? Why do Christians even listen to these musicians who bluntly disrespect Christianity?”

Solomon Buchi further highlighted Asake's song “Bandana" where the artiste used black goats in the video of the song and also displayed fire which represented different tongues which were sacred to the christian faith. He lambasted the artiste for not doing the same kind of actions to his own religion as a Muslim, yet he ridicules the christian religion.

The comment of Solomon Buchi has led to various debates online, as many believe that the costume used by Asake was not peculiar to the Christian faith, while others agreed that the Muslims would not have taken his actions lonely.
