Popular Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo opened up on an interesting experience between him Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The veteran actor shared how Peter Obi offered him the sum of N250,000 for the burial of his mother in 2011, which was the exact price of a cow.

The actor revealed how many would have expected more from Peter Obi considering his reputation, but he gave the exact amount needed for a cow

Kanayo revealed that he was not bothered by the actions of Peter Obi as he appreciated the donation of Peter Obi for taking time off his busy schedule.

He said; “In 2011, I was to bury my mum and I had many senators friends and I wrote to all of them. Two weeks after the funeral, Peter Obi called me at 1 am in his little voice, o sim ‘nwanne I just got your letter, I know the burial is over, You know I would have come if I had seen the letter’.

He sent me exactly the price of a cow. You know somebody would have thought he would give you two million for burial in 2011.”

I think he went to the market and priced the cow, the cow was 250k and that is what he sent to me. But the story here is he was the governor but he had time to call me.”
