Ruth Kadiri, a popular Nollywood actress has taken to her social media to fume at the Ekiti Chef, Damilola Adeparusi, for being passionate to break Hilda Baci's Guinness World Records.

AfricanPurse reported how Chef Damilola ventured into a cook-a-thon challenge. She sets for the journey to break Hilda Baci's Guinness World Record of the highest cooking hour.

Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported in May 2023 how Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef cooked for 100 hours thereby setting a new world record for the highest cooking hour. She displaces current world record holder, Lata Tondon, an Indian chef who achieved the feat in 2019 with 87 hours 45 minutes record uninterrupted cooking.

Interestingly, Chef Damilola is determined to cook for 120 hours to smash Hilda's record. Currently, she has cooked for over 35 hours and still intends to push further.

Ruth Kadiri who is one of the people reacting to the cook-a-thon challenge has spoken on a different view of the challenge.

Ruth Kadiri utterly slammed Chef Damilila for her desperation to break Hilda's records. She lashed her for not having the capacity to think for herself.

Ruth Kadiri wrote; “They won’t think for themselves but the moment you do it….. Everyone starts realizing they can do it too. They can’t even wait for her euphoria to settle. Meetnigerians my people”.
