Anikulapo, an exceptional movie directed and produced by Kunle Afolayan wins the 2023 Africa Magic Viewer's Choice Awards, AMVCA.

Aníkúlápó is a 2022 Nigerian epic fantasy drama revolving around the life of Saro, a young zealous man seeking greener pastures in the great Oyo Kingdom.

Interestingly, The prestigious event AMVCA, held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Eko Hotel, celebrated talents in the film world across Africa.

However, in the category of best African movie of the year, Kunle Afolayan’s “Anikulapo" beats other nominees in the category. Besides that Kunle Afolayan went home with multiple awards in various categories.
