Portable, the Nigerian street pop artiste whose real name is Habeeb Olalomi, recently showed off his newly acquired artificial teeth on his Instagram page. The singer claimed to have paid "Akoi 420" for the set of teeth and jokingly said they wanted to kill him.

The singer made this known on his Instagram page on Thursday, where he claimed to have gotten the artificial teeth for a sum of “Akoi 420”.

Portable, who spoke in pidgin said, “I bought my set of teeth Akoi 420. My teeth are paining me.

“I have bought these teeth that want to kill me.”

Portable rose to fame after contributing to the song "ZaZoo Zehh" featuring Nigerian rapper Olamide and Nigerian dancer Poco Lee. However, he has been involved in several controversies, including calling out his business partners on social media for scamming him in business deals.

Recently, Portable was arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for refusing to honour police invitation over an alleged assault. After the expiration of a 72-hour ultimatum given to him to turn himself in, he was charged in the Ifo high court in Ogun state on Monday, April 3, 2023.
