The current global economic meltdown has indeed, hit the film industry in Nigeria. During the week, many artistes, at different events, lamented about the crunch, which has, in no small measure, stalled business activity in Nollywood.

One of the affected people is star actor Emeka Enyiocha, who was at Chico Ejiro's office lamenting the lull in the industry. He said that this has put holes in the pocket of actors and actresses.
