Popular Nigeria Veteran Actor, Emeka Ani has in a recent video lamented the risk of him completely going blind as the infection on his left eye gradually eats deep.

The Cable Lifestyle recall that in November 2021 Ani got N6 million from Jeremiah Fufeyin, a clergyman, to undergo surgery for a different ailment.

But in a fresh appeal posted via the social media handle of his colleague, he called on public, beseeching them for support in order to save him from going blind

Nevertheless, the actor case is critical one as he is said to have been diagnosed of glaucoma which increases pressure in the eyeball, causing gradual sight loss.

“[There is a] growth around my eyes if you look at it very well. You’ll see the growth coming to the black spot. If care is not properly taken, it might result in blindness,” Ani said.

“So I want to plead with you once again my brothers and sisters to kindly help me so I can be taken abroad for proper medication and surgery.

“I have gone to so many hospitals here in Nigeria but to no avail. Please kindly help me so I can make use of my sight once again.”
