By Accra Fashion Week

When it comes to fashion in West Africa, Ghana and Nigeria are always pushing the boundaries, so it is not surprising there had to be a great representation of Nigeria at the just ended NIVEA Accra Fashion Week SH19, which took place at the Tang Palace Hotel.

The five nights of fashion saw various celebrities from Nana Akua Addo, Ama K Abebrese, Eazzy, Too Sweet Annan, Dandira, Efe Keyz, Moesha, Elikem The Tailor, Gifty, and much more take to the night to be a part of the charity fund raiser.

However, there is no denying that the rich colors, glitz and styles of the various Nigierian designers went unrecognized. Designers such as Tolumi TFP, Cocomanella, House Of Irawo, and the amazing students from Valissimo School took the center stage on the runway.

Tolumi TFP brought fashion to a hault with her smart and stylish casual collection filled with palette colors, whilst cocomanelle brought tremendous modern chic outfits and silk garments. Noticeably, House Of Irawo took to the center stage with beautiful couture pieces that could easily be recognized. Nigeria definitely left it's mark.

The celebrity filled week also saw many faces such as Deborah Vanessa, Nana Akua Addo, Ama K Abebrese, Eazzy, Too Sweet Annan, Dandira, Efe Keyz, Nikki Samonas, Moesha, Elikem The Tailor, Gifty, and much more take to the night to be a part of the charity fund raiser. As well as diplomats from various embassies such as the Namibian Embassy, the Angolan Embassy, the Morrocan embassy and more.

The night ended with the young Winifred Esinam claiming the title Face of Accra Fashion Week 2019. For more information and images check out their website at www.AccraFashionWeek.org .
