: Flavour, Pete Edochie To Thrill Fans At Face Of Okija 2017
The Obijackson Foundation\'s event, FACE OF OKIJA, is an annual cultural and music festival which showcases the rich cultural Igbo heritage with the aim of empowering the youth, supporting the arts, and exhibiting good social dedicated work.
The Fourth Edition of this highly anticipated event, which will hold on December 29, 2017, is themed \'Corruption in Culture\' and will focus on highlighting corruptive tendencies in our daily lives . A detailed presentation of the Obijackson Foundation\'s community work recorded in the past year will also be featured.* The focus will be on the Obijackson Women and Children Hospital....a world class specialized Pediatric and Women\'s healthcare facility located in Okija, Anambra state.
Performing this year at the festival are:
Flavour, Zoro, Selebobo, and many more. Pete Edochie, Okey Bakassi, Harry B, Ime Bishop, Destiny Etiko are some of Nollywood favourites to appear on stage. In addition, there will be various cultural dance performances such as Ohafia War Dance, Atilogwu Dance, Agaba Arochukwu, and Udubunch Ogene, to name a few.
The Face of Okija concept is designed to spotlight the places, faces, sights, and sounds of the Igboland experience like never seen before. The scenery, food, people, exotic locations, and cultural entertainment are guaranteed to wow everyone present.

The competition segment (Talent Hunt) that will hold in the 2017 Edition of Face Of Okija will showcase the awesome talents and abilities of the Physically Challenged.
The world renowned Declassical Arts and Entertainment, producers of \'Gula\' will present a musical play titled \'Ununcha\', another great one to wait for. Very Exciting!
This year\'s edition will focus primarily on Culture, Corruption and The Physically challenged.
Highlighting and presenting the positively impactful work the Obijackson Foundation has done and is currently doing in the immediate community and the country at large, especially in the lives of the poor and underprivileged, is a key segment of this 2017 event.
According to the Founder of the Obijackson Group, Dr. Ernest Azudialu-Obiejesi, the Face of Okija*** is a \'Special Purpose Programme (SPP) activated to help insulate Igbo culture, beliefs, values and tradition from continuous attrition\'. The initiative is a preservative agenda for sustaining ‘Igboness’ and promoting good collective essence as a people.***
The festival this year will take place at the Obijackson Sports Arena in the great Okija town which comprises of thirty villages. Okija town is in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State. The breathtaking and spectacular event will be televised.
