Queen Irene Onwuka Peace Foundation Gives Hope To The Less Privileged Kids
Queen Irene Onwuka Peace Foundation (QIOP) over the weekend celebrated children's day with the physically challenged children in Karamajiji, Abuja. The ex-beauty Queen donated 300 pairs of School shoes and Sandals, 300 School bags and several exercise books including sharing food and drinks to the children in a village located at the outskirt of the city.
It was indeed a memorable moment for the children as they had so much fun and kiddies play making them feel loved and appreciated. The colourful children's day ceremony for the physicaly challenged attracted a lot of people from in and outside Abuja. Onwuka was shown overwhelming support by her team and friends as they the celebrated the children. The Karamajiji less privileged kids added more colour to the beauty of the day by performing drama and displaying their fashion parade as some of them spoke of their ambitions and future careers in a lively get together party
Speaking to cross section of press men, Queen Irene thanked her sponsors and supporters who donated and supported her project. She further appreciated the Nigerian police for their full support on ground and all the media houses like AIT, NTA , People's TV etc that covered the event. In her speech she did not lose sight of the role played by EachOneAidOne Foundation in making the event a success.
