Super Eagles Player, Raheem Lawal Donates N500 Thousand to Save Player with Cancer
It seems there seems to be more love in football than in other entertainment areas as support have been coming in for ex Nigeria International, Kelechi Emeteole, who is down with cancer.
Since the news of the ailment broke out, close friends and relatives have been rallying around to see how they can help save the life of the man who has added value to the growth of sports in the country.
The good news started coming when Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, made a donation of N2 million out of the N2.5 million that was needed.
With further plea from Atlanta 96’ Super Eagles goal tender, Dosu Jospeh, who has been the major campaigner, another Super eagles player, Raheem Lawal, sent in his donation with the sum of N500 thousand to add up.
Making the announcement public, Dosu Joseph said, “Nigeria International Raheem Lawal donated #500k to Ex Nigeria International Kelechi Emeteole, who is down with cancer, God bless, you bro, Nigeria players are the best, keep the flag flying.”
