We just need to always remember our celebrities in our prayers because as they try to put smiles on our faces, they also have challenges like Nollywood actress, Joan Umoru, who was recently robbed.

The actress disclosed to Nollywoodgists.com that she some weeks back took a tricycle better known as Keke Napep, from Shoprite going to Independent layout in Enugu, just her alone when the incident happened.

She stated that as they were approaching Independent layout, the driver was suppose to take a turn at Toscana hotel but suddenly switched direction where he packed in a lonely area and demanded for money, phones and her Rolex wrist watch.

According to her, “As we were approaching independent layout he was supposed to take a turn at toscana hotel but I noticed he took Okpara square and before I could say no he was already halfway into the turn so i just assumed he wanted to take the other turn but to my surprise he stopped at the middle and started demanding for my properties. I was so terrified he was threatening to do something bad to me. He was asking me for money, and when I told him I didn't have he asked me to give him my phones and jewelries. But he was kind enough to give me my sim cards. He was even apologising to me not to be offended it was frustration that was making him to this.”
