Popular Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth, has continued to prove that despite his amount of wealth, he still remains that humble fellow many will want to associate with.

The comedian took to his social media to reveal the woman that paid him his first money from a show while in school which was N800, and that was in the year 2000.

Rather than feel bad for the woman paying him such an amount, he felt blessed for having met the woman because she believed in him and that turned him to whom he is today.

In his words, “So I bumped into Irene Nwoko, the lady that paid me N800 to perform at their engineering dinner back then in Uniben…..this was in 2000. Thank you for believing in my brand Irene. No body knows tomorrow!”
