All along, popeular Nigerian on-air-personality, Toke Makinwa, had chosen to keep silent about her glowing and fair skin as she has been accused severally of bleaching but thank God no skin damage yet.

Toke has decided to address the issue of her skin finally and this time, she admits that she has been bleaching her skin to fit in the standard her hubby’s ex looked like.

She disclosed on her autobiography released on Bella Naija, that she had to work on her skin just to satisfy her husband Maje.

According to her, “Anita had been the standard I had to live up to. I had lightened my skin at some point – Anita was half Lebanese and half Ibibio, and Maje made me feel like he preferred her lighter skin. I had been with Maje from when I was an immature teenager, through my twenties, and for most of those years.”
