Singer, Charly Boy Causes Scene in Abuja National Assembly (photos)
Controversial singer, Charles Oputa better known as Charly Boy, has successfully staged a peaceful protest in the capital city of Abuja.
The protest OccupyNASSunltd took place on the 15th 2016, at the National Assembly in Abuja and was tagged #OPENNASS.
The group made several demands to the government one of which was the scrapping of Nigeria’s upper legislative house, as well as accountability in the budget process.
The protest began at the Unity Fountain, near Transcorp Hilton Hotel, with the demonstrators carrying placards and Nigeria flags singing anti-government songs.
