The immediate past Most Beautiful Model in Nigeria International, Queen Sandra Bassey‎ has gone ahead to keep up her dreams of empowering and training youths and indigenes of Abak Local government with Skill acquisition programme. The 3 day project attracted several people each day as they were taught how to make shoes and other leather bags.

The empowerment programme packaged by Sandra Bassey Save Life Foundation was a way of celebrating her birthday which was marked on 8th of November. The soft spoken ex- beauty queen gave out financial support to some of the fast learners at the Skill acquisition project to set up their own entrepreneur jobs. Prior to the kick off the programme, the Local government Chairman of Abak LGA endorsed the project as it continues in other local governments and states.

Her Manager, Alex Nwankwo has expressed satisfaction over the consistent rise and hardwork of the Akwa Ibom state born model turned shoemaker. She is set to be unveiled officially as the Queen Mother of Most Beautiful Model In Nigeria brand with exclusive franchise right to host Most Beautiful Model In Akwa Ibom (MBMA} in January, 2017.
