We are SO EXCITED to announce our November Cover Star, Meg Otanwa!

By Zen Magazine Africa

Just as the saying goes: “It doesn’t matter how many times you get knocked down, what matters is how many times you get back up.” One of the most rewarding things that has happened to me during my career at Zen is being able to affect people’s lives positively. So many times, I have been approached, sent messages on social media by readers to say how much they admire the work we do here, with many noting that Zen Magazine illustrates the beauty of African fashion, and not simply about the prints. Our November cover star is a very talented Nollywood actress who hails from the Idoma speaking area of Benue State in Nigeria. A lover of languages, she speaks and writes English, French, Hausa, Idoma, Spanish and Yoruba, fluently. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from TIME Universite Tunis in Tunisia and an MBA training from Université Jean Moulin in Lyon, France. One of the stars in Africa Magic ‘s new hit TV series ‘Hush’, Meg Otanwa looks smoking hot on our November cover.

Before acting, Meg used to work at African Development Bank in Tunis, Tunisia. She worked in the bank for several years before moving back to Nigeria to pursue a career in acting. Making her debut for the magazine, Meg wears a material from her late mother on the cover, along with accessories from Raya Jewelry , while inside the issue she talks candidly about her rise in the movie industry, the actors who inspire her, her favourite African designers, favourite food, on acting on HUSH, and so much more details that have never been published online.

“Each role brings its own individual challenge,” Meg shares with our editor, Arinze Nwokolo. “I love playing different characters as it allows me to be more than myself and express myself.” Check out more of Meg’s exclusive interview with us this month, on our website from November 25th!
