Emperor Baywood received the award for his worthy contribution to the growth of the Nigerian economy especially in the oil and gas sector.  He has led the Baywood Group since 1989, after receiving his degree in quantity survey at Yugoslavia in 1987.

He is a renowned philanthropist and social activist; leading one of Nigeria's largest indigenous oil & gas EPC service companies; Baywood Continental Limited and a number of sister companies, including Baywood Exploration, Tropical Artic Logistics Ltd (TAL) and ZB Joint Ventures Limited which recently completed and handed over a 42″X 45km onshore gas pipeline built for Total Exploration Nigeria and the first of its kind in the sub region.
