It’s a baby boy for Bimbo Oshin

Star actress, Bimbo Oshin has been delivered of a baby boy. The father is Ola Ibironke, the Chief Executive Officer of Dudu Heritage. The baby, who was born April 6 in a highbrow Lagos hospital, was christened Michael Olusegun Ibironke at a naming ceremony that was attended strictly by friends and relations last Wednesday at Ibironke's Dolphin Estate home, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Bimbo, in a chat with Artsalive, expressed her joy. “I 'm quite happy and fulfilled as a woman. It's every woman's joy to be pregnant and be delivered of a baby. I thank God this happened to me. The baby is doing fine. He is in a fine condition too
The baby, wrapped in a baby warmer and tucked in a beautiful cot, is the father's look alike. His cheeks are chubby, with dimples and full hair.

Bimbo and Ola's romance has been severally denied in the media. Both had, on several occasions, claimed it was strictly a business affair. Since their relationship both have produced a couple of movies Eji Owuro and Owu Iya. Bimbo also presents the stable's TV programme, Dudu Heritage Half Hour in Ibadan, on Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State's television (BCOS).

The suspicion that they were romancing became rife when Ola made a sudden appearance at the Afro Dublin Movie Awards in Dublin, Ireland last year. Bimbo was one of the recipients of the awards. Few months after, at the prestigious Afro Hollywood Movie Awards in UK, Bimbo stunned the audience in the bowel of the highbrow Hilton Metropole, London when she announced that she dedicated her award to her husband, Ola Ibironke. Bimbo refused to comment on wedding plans but claimed that new baby Michael would be brought up in a family.

Bimbo, who has been off movie sets as early as four months in pregnancy has promised that as soon as the baby weaned, “I will be back.
