This year seems not to be too good for some Nigerian entertainers who has done well over the years.

One can’t dispute the fact that, Davido’s name keeps coming up in stories over his absence in the nomination list of major awards in the continent.

A fan of him however came to his rescue with this tweet: “Sum of these artist only got nominated because @ iam_Davido left the scene for 8months to work on new project wiv Sony/RCA . # FactsOnly .”

In a blunt response, Davido declares that he really doesn't deserve any award this year.

“I really shouldn’t be nominated this year For what?? I got three MAMAS in two years I’m good ! Still gonna be a great show! BUT NEXT YEAR.” He tweeted.
