American actor and filmmaker, Mel Gibson and Rosalind Ross, his girlfriend of two years, are both expecting a baby early next year.

This was made known by the star’s representative.

Already a father of eight kids, Gibson, 60, is thrilled to add to his brood with his girlfriend of 2 years,  26 year-old Rosalind Ross.

However, Mel Gibson has children between the ages of 36 years to 6 years.

“Mel and Rose are so excited about the baby,” says a friend close to the couple.

“Mel loves being a dad and he and Rose can't wait to be parents together. The last two years have been some of his happiest years he's ever had.”

Gibson and Ross began dating in 2014, and the pair raised eyebrows for their 35-year age difference. But they have quietly made public appearances on the red carpet together since they were linked two years ago.
