Nollywood actress, Ufuoma Mcdermott, is not that regular celebrity who is full of controversies as she has decided to pitch a strong tent for herself which is paying off for her.

 Featured in various movies which have topped the list of most watched movies at various cinemas, the actress seems not to be relenting in boosting her feathers in any script that comes her way while she also creates time to manage her home front.

Taking about her marriage, the actress has been married for about six years as she wedded her hubby, Steven McDermott, a Briton, in April 2010, and they have been blessed with two kids already.

Not many have had it rosy in marriage especially with foreigners but she has been able to understand her husband and that has made the home stronger and still counting.

Recently speaking with Sun newspaper on how she coped with marrying a foreigner, she explained that she has succeeded because she took her time to understand him and his culture which has worked for him.

'It makes no difference. There might be a bit of cultural differences but it is all about understanding and dialogue. Do lots of talking with your partner and get any issue resolved amicably,' she said.
