Call for submission of films for Nollywood film festival Germany
Registration and submission of films for the forthcoming yearly Nollywood film festival Germany NFFG and Nollywood Europe Golden Awards (NEGA)/ has started.
A release from Ehizoya Golden Entertainment the organizers of the event holding for the fourth time in Frankfurt Germany say deadline for registration ends 21st July while submission of films ends July, 31st, 2016.
While Nollywood Film Festival NFFG, is a viable platform designed for Nollywood film makers to showcase their movies to Europeans and Nollywood fans in the Diaspora, NOLLYWOOD EUROPE GOLDEN AWARDS - NEGA is designed to honour Nollywood stake-holders, Nollywood stars, comedians, musician both in Africa and in the Diaspora.
Others also honoured include outstanding statesmen and captains of industry who have done well to the admiration of the world.
Not left out in the honours list are successful Africans, whose impact have been profound in the culture and tourism sector
According to the guideline contained in the release, unless a special waiver is granted, films must have been made during the last 24 months preceding the Festival and must not have been shown on internet or TV.
It is possible to send a working copy of the film. When filling out the entry form, please state if it is the final version or a working version.
Remember that the Selection Committee only screens the films in DVD (PAL) and they must not be less than of 90 minutes duration or more than 120 minutes duration.
Again, both Blu-ray DVD and DCP are acceptable for cinema screening but they must be subtitled in English if the original version of the film is not in English
