Unemployment in Nigeria is no news but has maintained for a perennial space of time the top of the list of trending topics in many discuss, fora and political events, with the Government at all levels trying so hard to get a handle on it.

Camels and Needles Couture a Fashion brand with an industry footprint of just over 6 years with incredible specialities in the making of clothes for the upwardly mobile middle class and members of high society like any business registered under Nigerian Law should, has not kept face away from this 'ticking time-bomb' and in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility mandate collaborated with the Thessy Isemede Foundation, a reputable NGO with operations in the Federal Capital Territory to train a number of IDP's, a category of persons at the base of the unemployment pyramid in the Business of Fashion.

The Training which lasted for over 4 months was both theoretical and practical. Speaking to cross section of journalists, the CEO and Creative Director of the brand, Mr Eghenayamu Ogbemudia Frank said the initiative would go a long way in creating efficiency and increased productivity in the fashion market and admonished the trainees to take advantage of the opportunity and become independent.
