Whenever we happen to see Yul Edochie and his father Pete Edochie on the same set, we are excited to see the chemistry that flows between them. Yul recently met Pete on a set and he couldn't stop gushing about this rare encounter.

He broadcasted the news immediately, they took the first shots of pictures “On set today with the King of the beard gang. The Legend himself. Dad of life. I couldn't have asked for a better father.”

Pete can play major roles perfectly in any movie but you dare not ask him to take the excessive beards off “No, I wouldn't, no matter how much you would pay me. It gives me character. I have always played a big man in my movies. If I am not a leader of a cult, I am an Igwe or a native doctor. There must be something inspiring about you. Something that frightens people, that terrifies them, intimidates them when they know that you are coming. When you clean-shave, you lose that character,” he explained.

He was the one who advised, Yul to be in front of the camera rather than behind because he actually studied directing in school.
