Movie Director Shirley Frimpong Manso is talking about abortion and she believes that it is time we slow down the abortion rate among women. While some developed nation may have legalized abortion but Africa is still seeing it as evil.

However, Shirley said that young girl must understand that the act is a choice and not something evil. “The truth of the matter is if we make it into an evil thing, then everybody hides to do it. But when we talk about it and engage in some conversation about it, then when in that situation especially as a young girl, you will know what to so we are able to cut down on death through abortion by wack doctors. “

She added “Abortion should be a choice like everything else although it might depend on the circumstances. It is not as simply as don't allow abortion, you must look at all the angles.” She has disclosed that she went into movie production to change the way Ghana was being portrayed to the world. She said she wasn't impressed with the stories that were being told about Ghana on the screens and therefore got inspired to help change that trend.
