Seyi Shay was a guest on Rubbin' Minds with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Sunday and during the course of asnswering a question about her relationship with Tiwa Savage, she had shocked a lot of her fans. She told Ebuka Obi Uchendu that she doesn't really know Tiwa personally.

“I do not have many friends in the music industry (and) then my colleagues, we say hello, we say goodbye and then we invite each other to different things and functions happening,” she said.

However, this answer did not go on well with some of her fans on twitter, who believed that she took an indirect swipe at Tiwa Savage.

Seyi had to go to Twitter to clarify herself “Yes! I SAID I don't know most artistes PERSONALLY because we don't hang out. We are too busy!! problem anyone???
