Popular Gospel singer, Tope Alabi, over the weekend held her annual praise concert in Lagos and it was an opportunity for families to have an atmosphere of jubilation with the singer while singing praises to God.

The event which was held at LTV8, Ikeja, saw the hall filled to brim as guests were entertained to great tune and ministration from men of God with the likes of Pastor Wole Oladiyun, Evangelist Ebenezer Obe and many others.

While some gospel singers tend to feature circular artistes on their musical videos with the excuse that the circular artistes also worship God but just decide to make a different genre of music, Tope speaking with Nollywoodgists.com stated that she cannot feature any circular artiste on her music.

She explained that she has nothing against them; just that they are two walls apart and what is for God should be done for God and not mixed.

When asked if she can feature a circular artiste on her music, she said, “I can't because they are two walls apart. They are doing their own thing and I am doing mine.”

She also added that if the hands of time could be turned back, she will still be a gospel artiste and will never do circular songs.
