RAVE of the moment, Abolore Akande, has splashed N35m on two houses in Abuja and Abule Egba for his wife, Toni Payne Akande and his 21/2 weeks old first son, Zion.

Though, son and wife are yet to know about the surprise love gift and Xmas present, 9ice refused to disclose the amount forked out on the Abule-house, but RMT source said it set the rave back 20m and 15m respectively.

Confirming this to RMT in Lagos early in the week, the MOBO Award winner said it was the least he could do for the woman who had been there for him when the going was rough.

“My wife is my life, I'm grateful to God for giving me Toni. The least I could do for now is this, I'm hoping to do more in the future,” he said.

Asked where Toni and Zion were, the Ogbomoso-hailing musician could only say “They are fine, very fine.”

He wouldn't speak on his plans for next year nor comment on the condemnation of his “Party Ryder” musical video.
