1 Year After: I Still Miss Muna Obiekwe, my Best Friend…Ejiro Okurame
It is exactly one year since the Nollywood industry was thrown into sudden shock over the death of popular actor, Muna Obiekwe.
From some of the sad posts that Muna's colleagues posted on their various social media accounts, it was made known that the actor, who was survived by his wife and children, died after he could not afford the fee the Nigerian health care was demanding.
But one person who has been very close to the family, actress, Ejiro Okurame, is just the best person in position to tell the true story about what happened to the actor which she chose to keep quiet with explanation that “if his colleagues had come together to support the actor when some of them were contacted, he wouldn't have died.”
In her tribute post she wrote, “Can't believe it's a year today that you passed on my dear friend. God knows I still miss you so much. Continue to rest in peace Muna Obikwe, amen.”
