Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has kicked against nominating the much-talked about movie, 'Beast of A Nation' for the Ghana Movie Awards.

Yvonne, speaking with Ghana's KMJ on Hitz FM, explained that it will not be fair to nominate the film because it is not a Ghanaian production.

She stated that despite the fact that the flick was shot in Ghana, it still did not make it a Ghanaian project.

In her words, “It's not fair to all of us if they submit that movie because it is not a Ghanaian production. The fact that it was shot in Ghana doesn't make it a Ghanaian production. So I won't agree to that. If we are trying to promote our own, why will we go for a foreign production?”
