The Redeemed Christian Church of God has began its 2015 Holy Ghost congress which started on the 7th and will last till 12, December, 2015 with the theme, 'Flood Gates of Heaven.'

In one of Pastor Adeboye's sermon, he warned that those who are not sure of their salvation with God should desist from giving offering to his church.

He further noted that giving offering is another way of sending money to heaven.

According to the sermon, “From today if you are not sure of your salvation don't “ever” give when it is time for offering in Redeemed Christian Church of God. When you give offering you are sending money to heaven. Let me tell you the truth; the only reason we are still taking offering is to t5ake you out of poverty.”

Pastor Adeboye also expressed that one cannot be in sin and expect to be healthy as anyone eating his tithe is actually eating poison.

“You cannot be swimming in sin and expect the almighty God to make you healthy. You cannot be eating poison and remain healthy. Tithe belongs to God; if you are eating your then you are eating poison,” he said.
