Stop Advising Your Daughters to Endure Beating from a Man…Stella Damasus Warn African Mothers
Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus, has joined some of her colleagues who have been trying to create awareness about the high rate of domestic violence in the country.
The actress stated that lots of lives of women have been lost due to the violence they get from their husbands who do not understand what true love is all about and there is need to put an end to such act.
She warned African mothers to stop giving their daughters wrong advises because they went through such challenges so they also have to bear it.
Stella noted that no man has the right to hit a woman either the wife or girlfriend no matter what the situation is.
“Let's work together to put an end to domestic violence. We have lost enough people to this barbaric act. It is not right, so please African mothers stop telling your daughters that because it happened to you, it's okay for it to happen to them. No man has the right to hit any woman even if it is his wife or girlfriend,” she said.
