Popular Nigerian comedian, Julius Agwu, has concluded plans to donate about 250 live turkeys to families living in Riverdale in the United States of America.

Julius Agwu, who is reportedly now in the US, announced that he was doing this in appreciation to the community for hosting "one of the most culturally diverse communities in the State of Georgia, through our charity and Gospel comedy brand known as 'LAFF 4 CHRIST'S SAKE'."

According to the comedian, these turkeys will be presented to the beneficiaries on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Riverdale City Hall and it will be attended by the Mayor of Riverdale, leadership of the city security outfits, fire department, religious leaders, politicians, civil rights leaders and many others.

Julius Agwu said the families to receive these gestures from him were "identified by the City & DFCS."

He also said, "the men and women in uniform who continues to keep the community safe, especially during the holiday season, will all come out to celebrate, as well as receive a turkey for thanksgiving.”
