This is not the best of times for, popular Nigerian comedian, Abiodun Sheriff Olopade also known as Mc Abbey, as he recently lost his dad.

According to the humour merchant, his late father, Chief I. O Olopade, the Akakamukoko 1 passed on few hours after they spoke.

In a tribute on facebook, Mc Abbey whose real name is Abiodun Sherif Olapade described his father as the first comedian he ever knew.

"I remember the last words you said to me the morning before you died… “love you, please buy the soap you bought for me before and send to me, I like it”… Suddenly at night it was the call announcing your death… Chief I. O Olopade the Akakamukoko 1, Baba chief, the first comedian I ever knew… Always laughing to my ring tone…so sad you are gone… Farewell Daddy,' he penned down.

The bereaved comedian is yet to give details of the burial arrangements.?
