Over the weekend, the much-talked about Hollywood Weekly Magazine Film Festival took place in Beverly Hills, USA, and celebrated Nigerian filmmaker and publicist, Egor Efiok, was honoured at the event.

Also recognised were Lilian Amah, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State and others. Ambode was represented at the occasion by star actor turned Lagos lawmaker, Desmond Eilliot.

Egor received an Award of Excellence, Lilian got a Special Recognition Award, while Governor Ambode received an Image Award, which is the highest award category for outstanding individuals, for his support of Nollywood and the Nigerian Entertainment Industry.
