Today November 3, 2015, is the birthday of popular radio girl, Toke Makinwa, and she turns 31. Toke gladly announced “I'm the biggest birthday person I know. Proudly 1984.”

Toke, in her appreciation message to God, thanked Him "for looking out for me. Thank you for my pain, thank you for my gain. There was a time I didn't see your plan Lord, I was so convinced I won't amount to much in life, I was rejected, over looked, but you found me.”

Also, her estranged husband, Maje Ayida, sent a birthday wish to her.

“Happy birthday to my stunning wife, you are such an incredible woman. I remember when you started on the radio, you were a bag of nerves, working the night shift. I stopped off the pick up a pizza as they closed and drove up to the station.

“The roads were empty and I listened to you as I drove. You were new on the job, but the light in you was shining bright, the same light that burns today. I remember coming on air as a secret guest and marveled on how easy you made it seem, you were born for this. You are so blessed, I love you Toke Makinwa, have a spectacular day.”
