Passage: Matthew 11:12

“…The kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”

Message: Take it!

In Luke 17:21, Jesus said to His disciples, “The Kingdom of God is within you.” The kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God have no difference in meaning, so the Kingdom being within you, firstly it speaks of your God given authority over your life, and because of Jesus you have been guaranteed the victory (John 19:30). Nevertheless we have to take what Jesus has made available.

According to John 10:10, the enemy comes only to steal, kill and destroy. He seeks to steal the victory and the blessings Jesus has made available, to kill your joy and happiness, to destroy your relationships and dreams. Many of us, however, allow him, we don't fight, although being guaranteed the victory to take what belongs to us.

There is never a time or day to settle with defeat. Jesus has given us authority over the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), but if we don't act on it, the enemy will carry out his will in our lives, because indeed he has power. Our weapon against the enemy is the word of God (also known as Jesus – John 1:14, Revelation 19:13). We have to declare The Word over the areas of our lives that reflect the opposite, knowing that Jesus already paid the price for our victory to be complete.

I pray we wouldn't entertain or tolerate the enemy in our lives, but we would walk in our authority and take the victory.
