Controversial Ghanaian actress, Ella Mensah, has continued to make headlines especially in the Nigerian media since she came down to shoot some of her movie and she is striving towards becoming a household name both in Nollywood and in her country's movie industry.

The actress for sometime has been under criticism with the level at which she smokes which many feels her cigarette consumption level was just too much and needed to be controlled.

Ella in a response to the issue stated that she does what makes her happy despite the knowledge that smoking kills but she does not care if she is happy with what she is doing.

“Yeah, because when I post pictures on my social media and I have smoke in my mouth, a lot of people start saying, so she smokes, she's this, she's that, and I tell people that in life you do what makes you happy. We all know smoking kills so if you want to smoke and kill yourself, that's your problem,” she tells Vanguard.

She explained that she does not smoke cigar rather, she takes Sisha, which she loves so badly and can sit down 24 hours and seven days a week just to consume the product.

“I love shisha, I love shisha so badly that if all I wanted I have them and I don't have to work again, I can smoke shisha 24/7 all day everyday” she added.
